PRICING & SUITABILITY

Before you book

  • Quoted fee

The proposed visit and quoted fee are confirmed before booking.

  • Professional scope

The attending healthcare professional confirms whether the requested procedure is appropriate in the accommodation setting.

  • Emergency boundary

A hotel nurse visit is not emergency care. Call 112 for a life-threatening emergency in Türkiye.

A dressing visit is appropriate when the wound and care plan are sufficiently clear for a qualified professional to accept the task. CNR Medicare coordinates the request, address and provider discussion. If the wound has changed, the provider may ask for medical assessment before repeating the planned dressing.

Explain how the wound occurred

An instructed dressing change is different from an assessment of a new cut. Tell the coordinator how the wound arose, whether it follows surgery or another treatment and which clinician set the current plan. Share the written instruction, including dressing materials and review arrangements. CNR Medicare coordinates a qualified provider for an agreed task at suitable accommodation; the provider checks whether the request can be accepted.

A post-operative incision and a newly acquired cut may need very different pathways. Tell the coordinator which applies and whether a clinician has already examined it.

When the wound follows an operation, identify the surgeon or clinic that should receive a concerning observation. When it follows a new injury, explain whether a clinician has already examined it. A dressing appointment can support an established plan but should not be used to bypass a needed assessment. The provider can advise that closure, imaging or another service is more appropriate.

Provide the current dressing instruction

The treating clinician may have specified how the area should be cleaned, what dressing should be used and when a review is needed. Do not replace those instructions with a product that happens to be available. If the patient has no written plan, or if the wound looks different from when it was last assessed, the provider may recommend a doctor’s review before a routine change.

The provider needs to know the dressing type, cleansing direction and next review plan. A general request for gauze does not supply clinical instructions. The original clinician’s instruction may specify whether the wound should remain covered, what material to use and when it should be reviewed. If the patient has only an old dressing with no written plan, a provider may need a doctor to assess the wound first. Do not choose a replacement solely by appearance.

Confirm what supplies the visit requires

Ask who brings the ordered materials and whether the room offers a clean, private place for care. Share allergies to adhesive or other products and any restriction that makes it hard for the patient to position themselves. The qualified professional decides what is appropriate in the setting. A dressing visit does not automatically include closure of a wound, medication or another procedure.

Ask who brings the specified materials and whether the proposed room offers a clean working area. The professional determines if the location is suitable.

The proposed dressing material may have been chosen for a reason that is not obvious from its appearance. Ask the treating clinician to clarify substitutions if the specified item is unavailable. A qualified provider should not apply a different product as a convenience without considering the plan. The patient should also report any skin reaction to adhesive or cleanser used previously.

Check the wound before repeating a routine change

When the old dressing is removed, the provider can observe the wound and document a relevant change. Increasing pain, bleeding, wound-edge separation or unusual drainage may require clinical assessment instead of simply covering the area again. The original treating clinician should receive concerning findings, especially after surgery. A photograph may help communication when the patient consents and the clinic accepts it.

Unexpected bleeding, increasing redness, unusual drainage or wound separation should not be treated as merely a product choice. The attending professional may recommend a doctor review. For a wound following surgery abroad, keep the operating clinic informed of significant changes. A local provider can describe what they see, but the surgeon has the context of the operation and closure. Agree before the visit how photographs or notes may be shared privately if the patient consents.

Plan privacy and access at the hotel

Give the hotel or residence address, entrance process and time constraints before confirmation. A room change can affect access and the working environment. Ask who may be present during the visit and how privacy will be protected. The provider may find that a clinic is a more suitable place for the requested care; transport or another appointment is a separate arrangement.

Agree who may enter the room and how the patient will be positioned. A hotel’s visitor rules can affect the arrangement and should be checked before confirming.

After a change, record the material used and the date of the visit. Ask the provider whether the next review remains with the original clinic or a local clinician. A traveller may leave before the wound-care course is complete, so a clear note supports continuity at the next destination. It does not replace the treating clinician’s decision about when the wound is healed.

Report changes to the treating clinician

Keep the wound-care record and follow the treating clinician’s instructions until the next review. A dressing that becomes wet or loose, or a wound that changes between visits, deserves advice rather than an improvised new schedule.

Keep the clinician who directed the wound plan informed about relevant changes. Further dressing appointments should follow the current instructions rather than an assumed repeating schedule. CNR Medicare coordinates the booking; the licensed healthcare provider assesses suitability and performs any clinical procedure. For a life-threatening emergency in Türkiye, call 112 immediately. A wet or detached dressing is a practical concern, yet it may reveal a change in the wound beneath it. Tell the provider when the problem began and whether new pain, swelling or drainage occurred. The visit may shift from a routine change to a recommendation for medical review.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Contact CNR Medicare and briefly describe the wound, where it is located, when the injury or procedure occurred and where you are staying in Istanbul.
  2. Step 2: Provide any relevant wound-care instructions, discharge information or treatment details and mention stitches, staples, drains, allergies or significant recent changes when applicable.
  3. Step 3: Confirm whether one dressing change or repeated visits are required, what materials are included and whether you have been instructed to keep any specific supplies available.
  4. Step 4: The nurse attends your hotel, Airbnb or residence, reviews the relevant instructions and performs the appropriate dressing procedure within the agreed scope of care.
  5. Step 5: Follow the wound-care instructions after the visit and arrange further dressing, doctor review or additional aftercare if this is recommended.

CNR Medicare coordinates medical services for visitors in Istanbul. We are not a hospital or a clinic: examination, treatment and laboratory analysis are carried out by the licensed health professionals and partner facilities we work with.

Can I arrange wound dressing after surgery?

Yes. Scheduled post-surgery dressing care can be coordinated when appropriate. Broader recovery support is available through the dedicated Aftercare services.

Can a nurse dress a minor wound at my hotel?

Appropriate minor wounds may receive nursing dressing care. New, deep, complicated or significantly changing wounds may need doctor assessment first.
