PRICING & SUITABILITY

Before you book

  • Estimated arrival

Our team targets a 30–60 minute arrival window across Istanbul. The estimate is confirmed before booking and may vary with clinician availability, traffic and access.

  • Quoted fee

The proposed visit scope and fee are confirmed with you before the appointment is booked.

  • Clinical responsibility

The attending doctor examines you and decides whether hotel care, testing or another care setting is appropriate.

An urgent hotel doctor visit is for a health problem that needs timely assessment but does not appear to require emergency services. The difference matters: CNR Medicare coordinates a doctor's visit to your hotel, usually within 30–60 minutes once the visit is confirmed, but it cannot provide an ambulance. Describe the patient's present condition clearly, including any new symptom that appeared after you first considered booking. A clinician or emergency service, not a booking label, determines the level of care needed.

Urgent is not the same as a life-threatening emergency

A person may need a doctor promptly because symptoms began suddenly, are worsening or cannot reasonably wait for a routine appointment. Some such concerns may still be suitable for a hotel examination. Others require an emergency department or ambulance. State what is happening now, not only what you hoped to book. The patient's current condition determines the route. CNR Medicare can check available hotel doctor options and pass the concern to the provider; it does not operate an emergency response service.

Severe chest pain, serious breathing difficulty, sudden signs of stroke, loss of consciousness, major uncontrolled bleeding, a seizure or a severe allergic reaction require immediate emergency help.

Send the information that changes urgency

Tell the coordination team the patient's main symptom, when it began and how quickly it has changed. Mention a new breathing problem, chest symptom, confusion, fainting, significant bleeding or inability to stay awake immediately. State the patient's age when relevant and any major condition, recent procedure or medication that may affect the situation. The first message should be concise enough to understand promptly. More detailed medical history can be discussed with the doctor, but warning signs should never be buried in a long attachment.

Give the precise Istanbul hotel or residence address, district and a phone number that remains reachable. Include reception, entrance or intercom information needed for access. If the request is for another person, explain who is with the patient and who can describe symptoms. State the preferred language, but do not delay emergency care while looking for a particular language arrangement. If the patient's location or condition changes after the first message, notify the team because the proposed provider and setting may no longer fit.

A proposed hotel visit still needs clinical and practical confirmation

The team checks which doctor is available, whether the concern can reasonably be assessed at the accommodation and how the provider can reach the address. A message does not mean a doctor has been dispatched. Review the proposed appointment time, language and quoted scope before accepting. Do not rely on an assumed travel interval: traffic, location and building access can affect the arrangement, while the patient's condition may change in the meantime. If the suggested time or setting is not appropriate for the symptoms, seek another care route.

Tell hotel reception if the property requires approval for an outside visitor. Keep the phone nearby for access questions and have a private space ready for the examination. Bring the patient's medicines, known allergy information and directly relevant recent records when they are available. Do not postpone a necessary examination to search for paperwork. An urgent request should make the handoff to the doctor clearer, not create extra administrative steps that delay care.

The visiting doctor assesses severity on arrival

At the hotel, the physician asks about the immediate problem, relevant conditions and medicines, then examines the patient within the limits of the room setting. The doctor may provide advice or treatment after assessment, or may recommend testing or transfer to another setting. A hotel visit does not include the full equipment or observation capacity of a hospital. The clinician decides whether the patient can remain at the accommodation or needs another level of care. An urgent label on the request does not predetermine the diagnosis or the treatment.

Ask the doctor what findings affect the decision and which symptom would require immediate escalation. If a clinic, hospital, test or specialist is recommended, clarify how promptly that step should happen. CNR Medicare may help coordinate practical arrangements when appropriate, but the relevant provider confirms its own capacity and scope. Do not assume transport or later care is included in the hotel consultation fee.

Watch for deterioration while the appointment is pending

A patient who seemed suitable for a room visit at the first message may become more unwell before a doctor arrives. Tell the team about any meaningful change, especially breathing difficulty, chest pain, confusion, collapse or major bleeding. Seek an appropriate care setting based on the current condition rather than the earlier plan. A confirmed visit is not a reason to defer emergency help.

Even without a life-threatening feature, worsening symptoms may make a clinic or hospital more appropriate than the hotel. A physician can assess that from updated information or on arrival, but a patient should not wait silently through substantial deterioration. Avoid taking another person's prescription or starting a procedure because a clinician has not yet arrived. Decisions about medicines and treatment belong to the provider who assesses the individual patient.

Leave the urgent visit with explicit next steps

Before the doctor leaves, ask what was found, which concern remains uncertain and what should happen next. Clarify whether a test, medicine, observation, follow-up or transfer is recommended. Ask who will review results and how to make contact if the condition changes. Keep any issued note or prescription for another provider if care continues elsewhere. The proposed plan may involve services outside the hotel, and those need their own confirmation and quote unless specifically included in the original arrangement.

If the patient will travel soon, explain the schedule to the physician but do not press for clearance unsupported by the findings. A report or certificate is a separate clinical document based on assessment, and another organisation may have its own acceptance rules. CNR Medicare coordinates the requested visit and can assist with practical next-service enquiries. The treating doctor determines diagnosis, treatment and the medical urgency of the follow-on plan.

How it works

  1. State what changed: Give the main symptom, onset, worsening trend and any critical associated symptom.
  2. Give the exact location: Share the hotel or residence address, access details and a reachable phone number.
  3. Review the proposed visit: Confirm the provider, time, language and quoted scope when a hotel assessment is suitable.
  4. Act on the findings: Follow the clinician's recommendation for examination, further care or emergency escalation.

CNR Medicare coordinates medical services for visitors in Istanbul. We are not a hospital or a clinic: examination, treatment and laboratory analysis are carried out by the licensed health professionals and partner facilities we work with.

Frequently asked questions

What makes a hotel doctor request urgent?

It may be time-sensitive because symptoms began suddenly, are worsening or need assessment sooner than a routine appointment. The team and provider must still assess whether a hotel visit is appropriate. Life-threatening symptoms require emergency services.

Does sending an urgent message mean a doctor is travelling to me?

No. Provider availability, clinical suitability, location and appointment details must be checked and confirmed. If the condition changes while you wait, report it and seek the appropriate level of care.

What should I say in the first urgent request?

Give the main symptom, onset, change in severity, significant associated symptoms, exact address and a reachable number. State important medical context briefly. Do not hide severe warning signs in a long message.

Will a doctor always be able to treat me in the hotel?

No. The physician examines the patient and may recommend testing, a clinic or hospital care. The room setting cannot provide every investigation or treatment.

Can I choose a precise arrival time for an urgent visit?

Give your availability and address, then review the proposed appointment after provider confirmation. Travel and building access affect the arrangement. Do not rely on an unconfirmed arrival time when urgent care is needed.

Should I prepare medicines and records while waiting?

Have directly relevant medicines, allergy details and recent records available if practical. Do not delay necessary care to gather paperwork. The doctor can ask detailed questions during the visit.

Are tests or transport included in the urgent consultation fee?

Ask what the quoted visit covers before confirming. Testing, another provider, transport or follow-up may be separate arrangements. The clinician determines what is medically needed after assessment.
