Map the journey through the airport
Airport assistance is easier to arrange when the traveller explains the journey from one handover point to the next. An arriving passenger may need help between the aircraft, border procedures, baggage claim and ground transport. A departing passenger may need assistance from the vehicle drop-off point through check-in and onward airport processes. Tell CNR Medicare which flight and airport are involved, where the traveller expects to meet a driver or companion, and which parts are already covered by the airline. The airport, airline and ground providers each control different stages; one request does not automatically book all of them.
Describe the practical barrier rather than relying only on an assistance label. A passenger who cannot walk long distances, uses a wheelchair, needs communication support or travels with a companion may require different arrangements. State whether the person can transfer to an aircraft seat or vehicle seat and whether their own mobility equipment travels with them. Some details must be given directly to the airline under its procedures. CNR Medicare can coordinate the ground-side enquiry and help connect the handover points, while the airline and airport confirm assistance within their own services.
