PRICING & SUITABILITY

Before you book

  • Quoted fee

The proposed visit and quoted fee are confirmed before booking.

  • Professional scope

The attending healthcare professional confirms whether the requested procedure is appropriate in the accommodation setting.

  • Emergency boundary

A hotel nurse visit is not emergency care. Call 112 for a life-threatening emergency in Türkiye.

When you already know which nursing task has been requested, travelling to an unfamiliar facility for every appointment may be difficult. CNR Medicare coordinates an enquiry with a qualified provider for your hotel or residence in Istanbul. The provider checks the clinical instructions and location before agreeing to attend.

Identify the nursing task before booking

A hotel nurse visit should be requested for a defined task, such as an instructed injection, sample collection or dressing change. Explain who needs care, where they are staying and which clinician recommended the task. A symptom alone may call for a doctor’s assessment before nursing work can be planned. CNR Medicare coordinates an enquiry with a qualified provider, which reviews the instructions and location before confirming attendance.

The useful first message names the procedure, not only a symptom. An injection, blood sample and wound dressing each require different materials and documentation.

If a guest requests a nursing visit after receiving care elsewhere, the prior clinician’s note should identify the task and follow-up plan. A short message saying that a nurse is needed may omit the part a provider must check. Ask whether the patient has a medication, device or dressing that requires particular materials, and share the relevant document through an agreed private channel.

Share the prescription or instruction that supports the task

The provider may need a prescription, test request, discharge note or earlier assessment, depending on the task. Send a legible copy and identify allergies, relevant medicines and any change in the patient’s condition. A nurse should not have to infer the medicine, dose or wound plan from a verbal summary. Where the document is missing or contradictory, ask the responsible clinician to clarify it before proceeding.

If an instruction exists, provide a legible copy through an appropriate channel. If you have no assessment yet, ask about a doctor rather than expecting a nurse to decide on a new treatment. An open-ended request can conceal two different needs: a defined nursing procedure and an unexplained symptom. If no clinician has assessed the symptom, say so. The coordinator can point the enquiry to a doctor service rather than asking a nurse to choose treatment at the hotel.

Check whether the accommodation is suitable

A hotel, rented apartment or private residence can be considered only after the professional assesses the requested task and setting. Give the complete address, entrance instructions and visitor rules. Ask what equipment, privacy and working space are needed. A provider may recommend a clinic when the room or patient’s condition does not support the procedure. Booking convenience should never determine clinical suitability.

Explain the building access, room privacy and any equipment already present. A hotel’s visitor policy and the provider’s own requirements may make another location more suitable.

A suitable hotel visit depends on the procedure as well as the building. The provider may need a surface for supplies, access to the patient without unsafe movement and a way to address an unexpected reaction. These factors are assessed for the individual task. If a clinic is advised, confirm the location and any transport needs separately rather than assuming the nurse can perform a reduced version in the room.

Know what the attending nurse can and cannot decide

A qualified nurse can assess the patient within professional scope, carry out an accepted task and document relevant observations. Diagnosis, a new prescription or a change to treatment belongs to the responsible clinician. If a concern appears before or during the visit, the nurse may recommend medical assessment rather than completing the original procedure. An agreed nursing appointment is not an open-ended authority to do another task.

The qualified nurse may assess the patient before a planned task and decline it when clinical conditions do not fit. That decision should lead to a discussion of doctor or facility care. Confirm the patient’s name and the person authorized to consent to care. Where a travelling companion arranged the request, the provider still needs to communicate appropriately with the patient. The patient should know what task is proposed and what information will be documented.

Prepare for a clear clinical handoff

Confirm the exact procedure, attending professional, supplies, patient consent, proposed price and the route for reporting any findings. If more than one nursing task is needed, list them before booking so the provider can assess each one. Decide who will be present, who can receive clinical information and whether a companion needs to help with room access. Keep the original treating clinician’s contact available.

Confirm who is receiving the care, what will be performed, which supplies are included and how any observation reaches the prescriber. Additional tasks should be disclosed before the visit.

The patient should leave the visit knowing what was done and what the provider recommends next. If the original prescriber expected a report, arrange how that record will reach them. A visitor leaving Istanbul may need the same information for a clinician at home. Keeping a concise record helps prevent a later professional from repeating a task or relying on an outdated instruction.

Choose a different service when the need changes

After the visit, ask which task was completed and whether further care was advised. A new symptom or changed instruction may require a doctor, laboratory or clinical facility rather than another nurse appointment. CNR Medicare can coordinate a separately confirmed service after the provider’s recommendation.

A new or worsening symptom calls for clinical assessment instead of adding a task to a nurse’s appointment. For severe symptoms, use emergency services. CNR Medicare coordinates the booking; the licensed healthcare provider assesses suitability and performs any clinical procedure. For a life-threatening emergency in Türkiye, call 112 immediately. If the provider recommends a clinic instead of a room visit, ask whether transport or communication support is needed. The clinical recommendation and the logistics are separate decisions, and the latter should not delay urgent assessment.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Contact CNR Medicare and explain which nursing service is needed, the patient's age, where you are staying in Istanbul and your preferred language.
  2. Step 2: Provide relevant medical information and any prescription, treatment instruction, discharge note or previous assessment connected to the requested procedure.
  3. Step 3: The requested nursing service is reviewed to confirm whether it can appropriately be provided at your hotel, Airbnb or residence.
  4. Step 4: The nurse attends the location, confirms the relevant medical information and performs the appropriate nursing procedure according to the care requirements.
  5. Step 5: Follow any instructions provided after the procedure and arrange additional nursing care, doctor assessment or testing if further follow-up is recommended.

Frequently asked questions

Can a nurse come directly to my hotel in Istanbul?

Yes. CNR Medicare can coordinate appropriate nurse services at hotels, Airbnbs, serviced apartments and residences in Istanbul, subject to the requested procedure and availability.

What procedures can a nurse perform at my hotel?

Depending on the situation, nursing care may include injections, wound care, blood collection, IV-related procedures or follow-up support. Individual services have their own clinical requirements.

Do I need a prescription or doctor's instruction?

Some procedures require a prescription, medical order or previous physician assessment. The requirement depends on the type of nursing care requested.

Can I request a nurse without seeing a doctor first?

You can request the service, but a physician assessment may be necessary if the condition has not been evaluated or a new diagnosis, prescription or treatment decision is required.

Can the nurse visit an Airbnb or private residence?

Yes. Visits may also be coordinated at Airbnbs, serviced apartments and private residences when the location and requested procedure are suitable.

Can I arrange repeated nurse visits?

Yes. Multiple visits may be coordinated when ongoing nursing care is appropriate and the treatment or care plan requires follow-up.

Can a nurse collect blood from my hotel?

Blood collection can be coordinated when appropriate. The required tests and sample collection details should be confirmed before the visit.

Can I receive nurse care after surgery or medical treatment?

Yes, when the requested nursing support is appropriate. Patients needing broader post-surgery assistance may also use CNR Medicare's dedicated Aftercare services.

What should I do if my condition worsens before the nurse arrives?

Tell the coordination team about significant changes. Depending on the symptoms, a doctor assessment or a different level of medical care may be more appropriate.
